Lead planning stage of audit.
Review, coordinate and communicate to the related IA division, consultant, and Chief Internal Audit Officer regarding the audit planning.
Maintain communication and contact with Chief Internal Audit Officer, group head and division head of auditee.
Review draft of investigation or audit report.
Conduct communication and reporting to Chief Internal Audit Officer.
Review recommendations that need to be followed up by respective departments/divisions/groups and management.
Review communication and contact with Auditees and BPO regarding findings and recommendations.
Distribute audit report to the Chief Internal Audit Officer for review and approval.
Lead coordination and follow up with other related function such as Industrial Relations Group and Legal & Corporate Secretary Group with respect to recommendation of action and/or sanction from Management.
Lead assessment and support development of Anti-Fraud Best Practices (such as whistleblowing system, data mining, financial statement analysis, etc.).
Provide regular report to Chief Internal Audit Officer regarding assessment and support development of anti-fraud best practices.
Provide recommendation to respective departments/divisions/groups and Management to enhance the implementation and monitoring of anti-fraud best practices.
Lead preparation of related Internal Audit Operations Manual and ensure the compliance with policies and procedures.
Review whether related audit and reporting procedures and documents are complied with IA Manual.
Review all internal audit activities in accordance with the Internal Audit Charter, Code of Ethics, IIA Standards, and Internal Audit Manual.
Participate in formulation of action plans to improve internal audit activities based on Quality Assurance results.
Lead the implementation of action plans to improve internal audit activities based on Quality Assurance results.
Lead as a company representative for related external parties (i.e. Police, Lawyer, etc.)
Lead coordination and communication effectively with external auditors and business process owners
Lead to manage consultant effectively in terms of quality of works, communication with BPOs and submission of outcomes as deadline.
Review regular work progress from consultant/internal before reporting to Chief Internal Audit Officer.
Under or post graduate degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Telecom / Computer Engineering, Commerce, Management, Accounting or equivalent from a reputable educational institute.
Certification in at least one area, e.g., Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is preferred.
Commencement towards post-graduate related field or profession (e.g., fraud auditing and computer forensics) will be viewed favourably.
7 years experience in audit, fraud compliance investigations and investigations management with proven track record.
2 years experience in managerial level.
Experiences in handling fraud investigation/whistleblowing issues.
Understanding of audit, compliance standards and investigation techniques.
Preferable to have experience in EnCase forensic software.
International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) from Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
Familiarity with the common indicators of fraud.
